All the miniatures on this website (with the exception of the wallpapers), have been designed and made with care in our studio, just for you.
The benefit of ordering from Hearth and Home Miniatures, is that you are dealing directly with the artisans. We are continually improving methods and processes which means not only does your miniature have the latest improvements, but it is newly made especially for you and can be customised to suit your own particular needs. You will receive a beautiful studio crafted miniature to enhance your collection.

We have been making dolls house miniature bathrooms since 2008. All our dolls house bathrooms have been carefully researched from architectural antiques, historic catalogues as well as artefacts in our own home and they are reproduced as 12th scale miniatures.
As all Hearth and Home miniature dolls house bathrooms are hand made in our own studio, we are able to offer a bespoke service and customise your dolls house bathroom suite to your own special requirements.
We also offer a free colour matching service and recommend Farrow & Ball paints. These are historically accurate and will enhance the interior decoration of your miniature dolls house bathroom.

As with all our miniatures, Hearth and Home dolls house fireplaces have been carefully researched at National Trust properties, architectural reclamation yards and historic archives.
Our 12th scale dolls house Georgian fireplaces include ogee grates and free standing fire baskets. The Victorian dolls house fireplaces reflect a more decorative era with a highly detailed grate and tile slips, while the miniature Arts and Crafts fireplace with its overmantle and mirror ushers in a simpler style at the beginning of the 20th century.
More recently, we have introduced 20th century dollshouse fireplaces from the Art Deco and 1930's to 1950's periods.
All our miniature fireplaces "light-up" and are supplied with a bulb.

We love AGAs. We have both had AGAs in our lives since childhood. Now that we live in a 16th century house, the AGA is still the hub of the home, creating a wonderfully warm and inviting family kitchen. That is why we take great care to ensure our miniature AGA stoves are complete, accurate, 12th scale miniatures.
The 12th scale AGAs are available in the two oven version, the four oven version or the new miniature deluxe AGA model. This new model has a lighting firebox, pewter cooking plates and is supplied with a bulb. All miniature AGA cookers have chromed hot plate lids and opening metal doors.
We also offer a free colour matching service so you can co-ordinate your miniature AGA with your dolls house kitchen.

Washing coppers were found in most houses; in some cases until the 1940's. They were used as an early "washing machine", the water being heated from the fire beneath. Sometimes children were bathed in them or they were used for brewing beer. The Hearth and Home washing copper boiler has a "lighting" fire, opening metal door, removable lid and is supplied with a bulb.

These fine quality dolls house wallpapers are the only items on the Hearth and Home Miniatures website which we do not make ourselves and complement the other miniatures in our range. They are suitable for most dolls house styles including the Georgian and Victorian periods and 1930's styles.The wallpapers come as a complete 12th scale wallpaper room kit with a length of up to 60 inches and with wainscoting and borders to match. The height of the main wallpaper sheet is 10 inches. The wainscoting and borders are separate, providing extra height if necessary.
Their high quality vinyl finish means they are easy to install and there are instructions enclosed in each pack.
